Wood Sorrell Information

Shamrock is another common name for this delicate, yellow-flowering petite herb. The distinctive three heart shaped leafs joining on the stem make this lemon flavored plant unmistakable. It can be used in salads, soups and goes well in most seafood dishes.
Nutrition- Vitamin C and potassium are Wood Sorrell’s most valuable contents. Oxalic acid is contained in Wood Sorrell and should be avoided by people with kidney stones, rheumatism or gout.
Medicinal- Wood Sorrell tea can be sued as a diuretic, an astringent, and blood cleanser.
