Clover Information

White clover is native to the America’s while red clover is an import. The flowers are them most nutritious part of the plant. Clover is commonly known for it’s three leaf pattern with a light color chevron printed on each leaf. Clover is a legume so it contains proteins comparable to whole grains.
Nutrition- Clover contains beta carotene, vitamin c, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, biotin, choline, inositol and bilflavonoids, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, and selenium.
Medicinal- A tea of the flowers is good for detoxification, cleansing the liver and gallbladder, has an overall strengthening and nourishing that promotes health, and has been used for gout, arthritis, and skin disorders.
